How it works
For families
Your caregiver's hours are calculated automatically — no timesheets, no app to download.
For pet sitters
Time on the job is tracked automatically, with the sitter's permission, so clients pay for exactly the time worked.
You get a summary
A clear hours total arrives by text — ready for payroll, Venmo, or your records.
How you opt in
You join by texting START to our number or by entering your mobile number on our sign-up form and checking a box agreeing to receive messages. Each caregiver or pet sitter whose hours are tracked must separately opt in from their own phone before any of their messages or location are used. We never add anyone without their consent.
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated messages from Hands-Free Hours about hours tracking and account updates. Message frequency varies, up to 5 messages per day. Privacy Policy

Hands-Free Hours is operated by Tazzina & Co. LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Contact information: name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- Message information: the content and timestamps of text messages sent to or from your Hands-Free Hours number, used to calculate hours.
- Location information: only for caregivers or pet sitters who opt in to location-based tracking — arrival and departure at the job location.
- Billing information: processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information only to provide the service: calculating hours, sending hours summaries and account messages, providing support, processing payment, and meeting legal obligations.
SMS and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, or rented to any third parties.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate (such as our messaging and payment providers), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.
Location data
Location is collected only from people who have opted in from their own device, only to record time on site, and is never sold. Location tracking can be turned off at any time by replying STOP.
Retention and deletion
We keep hours records while your account is active and for up to 12 months after you cancel, unless the law requires longer. You may request access to or deletion of your information by emailing us at the address below.
Children
Hands-Free Hours is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date on this page.

Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To rejoin, reply START.
